our hungry "cool cat"

Nico has been eating "real" food. Baby food that is. There has not been one thing that he has turned away or dislikes. He likes some foods more than others, but will eat it all. He will sit with his mouth open waiting for you to hurry and put the spoon in his mouth. It seems he can't get it fast enough.  I always told myself that I am going to let him choose what he likes. Just because I don't like peas or carrotts, doesn't mean I won't give it to him. Let me tell you, He has had peas, carrotts, sweet potatoes, apples, and pears and loves everything he has tasted. All that is left for him to try over the next few weeks is green beans, bananas, and avacado. He's such a good boy. Such a good eater.

Nico is almost rolling over. He gets alway on his side and then, he will just plop back down. He is changing and growing so fast. He's our little boy.

Nico LOVES the hat Aunt Lori got him. Whenever I put a hat on him he cries and fusses to take it off. Well, not this one. He wears it playing with Daddy, playing in his exersaucer, and even in his jammies getting ready for bed. It is adorable.

Nico is such a sweet boy. He is a cuddler and loves hugging and kisses. We are so thankful for all he brings to our life.

Merry Christmas!

What a busy, yet PERFECT Christmas we had! We celebrated Christmas Eve with Barb and Keith. We went to church and then back to Grammy and Pop pop's for dinner. Nico was out, but we had a great time just being with each other. Nico also made sure the next morning that EVERY toy tasted just right! Nico got some great gifts from just about EVERYONE! Grammy and Pop pop got Nico lots of learning and fun toys, jammies, a book, and a program for Nico and I to work on everyday called, "Your baby can READ"! I am so excited. We will start next week. Nico also got a cool personalized picture frame from Uncle Matt, Aunt Stacey, and Lily. And, he got the coolest outfits from Aunt Lori and Uncle Terry, Uncle Ang and Aunt Candy, and Michelle and Mike. He is going to be the coolest kid out there. He LOVED the hat Aunt Lori and Uncle Terry got him, he kept it on ALL Christmas night. Thank you to all, we love you!

Christmas day we got to see Papa Chelo, Mom mom, GiGi (great grandmom), Titi Bernie, Tio Joe and Aunt Susie, Lexi and Gianna! Nico had a blast. He ate sweet potatoes and pears. Got to dance around with Mom mom, and loved playing with his cousins. He stayed up 2 hours past his bedtime. Nico got a gorgeous church outfit from Tio Joe and Aunt Susie and some soft blocks that he played with all day today. Titi Bernie got him a cool outfit, and Mom mom got him a choo choo train toy and Eagles jammies and sweatsuit.  He is so blessed to have a loving family. Whenever they are over he doesn't want to nap or go to bed. He just wants to be with everyone. He is getting to be SO much fun.

Nico and Daddy playing this morning. Nico woke up extra early today. I think that he thought everyone would still be here and wanted to see them.

Nico playing with one of the toys Grammy and Pop pop got him. He played with it all day today.

snowed in!

SO, we missed going to Aunt Candy's and Uncle Ang's because we got snowed in! We ended up with almost 20 inches of snow...How crazy is that! We couldn't or wouldn't chance driving there with Nico. We thought about it for hours, but when it took us about 30 minutes to get to Grammy and Pop pop's when it is usuually a 15 minute drive, that's when we knew we were not able to go. We ended up having a WONDERFUL night! We had Filet and Lobster, YUMMY, for dinner, watched some movies, sat next to a cozy fire, and just enjoyed being with eachother. It was perfect!  Nico had such a great time. Pop pop played the guitar for him, he played, checked out the dogs, and took a nice nap with Grammy.

The next day was so beautiful outside. Everything looked so peaceful and it was such a beautiful sky. The Lord knows when it's time for you to have a break, and a peaceful, joyful, and loving break it was.

love bug

Nico is such a love bug! He loves cuddling and playing with Daddy and Mommy. We couldn't be any happier in life right now. He is such a joy and such a blessing.

Nico had his 4 month check up today. He is 17pounds 14.5ounces(90%) ,27 3/4inches long(97%), and head circumference is 16 3/4(50%).  He is our BIG boy. He got 2 shots today and had to drink some medicine. He cried for maybe 2 seconds. He is such a strong little man. He was so tired after and then when we got home, was his happy self again. He has been putting everything in his mouth, grabbing everything, looking and observing everything, and has been imitating Daddy with head movements and sounds. It's the funniest thing ever. The doctor listened to Nico's chest and told me that he has a heart murmur. My first reaction was what does that mean. She said that it is a innocent murmur and he should grow out of it, nothing to be concerned about, Thank God.

This Saturday is The famous Italian Fish Dinner at Uncle Angelo's and Aunt Candy's house. We are so excited. Great food and we get to spend some time with our wonderful family!

thanks ,fun time, and tummy time

I wanted to thank everyone for your support and prayers for our family this past year. We have gone through so much to get where we are and have the Lord and  all of you to thank. Thank You!

Thanksgiving morning, so beautiful!

I just got my lap top back and am finally able to upload from my camera and not my phone. Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving!

Nico LOVES his Daddy, being in just a diaper, and watching some tv.  He gets so excited and will screech and just bounce up and down. He is such a happy baby. He does have a little bit of a temper. When he gets frustrated or if his mouth starts to bother him(teething), he will just yell out or start to get a bit fussy. So, all you need to do is just take off his clothes or Daddy will let him chomp on his finger or a teether and he is fine.

Nico does so great with his tummy time.  He holds his head up so well and is so strong, he will be scooting around before we know it : )
