finally

We got snow! Too bad I can't go out and play in it. It is absolutely beautiful outside. Kids running around already, sledding, and snowball fight. Ah, those were the days. It makes you think of when you were a child and the only worry you had was, do we have school today? It brought friends, family and fun times. Some great memories.

Casey is much better. Not sure if it's 100% yet, but very close. I have also been feeling better. I have been able to eat and not get sick everyday. Let the good times come.

better days

I had an appointment this past Friday, it went very well. I got a ultrasound and got to see our beautiful jumping, flipping, and dancing baby! It was just beautiful. We also went over the process for the procedure I will be getting in February. With all procedures, of course there are risk. I am trusting that everything will be fine and in August we will have a healthy beautiful baby.

Casey has been very sick this weekend. After two days of just feeling horrible and not being able to get any sleep, he decided to go to the emergency room. A possible case of salmonella poisoning.(Stay away from TACO BELL) He is feeling much better now. So, our weekend has been pretty uneventful, but we have been getting plenty of rest. Thanks again for all your support and prayers for our family. Thank you also to Barb, my mother in law. She came over early Saturday and helped by cleaning up a bit and we greatly appreciate it. We love you!

baby love

Casey and I feel extremely blessed to be pregnant with this little one. I have been more sick than what I was with Brody, did not know that was possible. Casey has been absolutely wonderful. He is taking good care of me. He makes sure I eat, drink, and get plenty of rest. I could not do this with out him. Our friends and family have been extremely supportive also. My Mom is coming to make dinner for us tomorrow and spend the day with me. I am very excited. Sometimes just having your Mom makes you feel better. Not many pictures yet, I have been looking too rough for that! This is the only one so far. I will be sure to have a new one every month. Thanks for all your continued prayer and support.

Baby Ayars #2 on the way!

Well, I guess we have made you wait long enough. We are having a baby! We are almost 10 weeks. We are very excited and thankful. The plan is on Feb. 19th, I will get a cerclage(A stitch in my cervix) to keep that baby in there the whole time. I will then be on bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy. So far so good. I have been sick but I have never been happier to be sick. My doctor has actually put me on bedrest for the next 4 days. Nothing to worry about, She just wants me to take it as easy as possible.

I will have to cheat on Saturday and be on CHAIR rest for Lily's shower. The whole Ayars family will be there. I can't wait.

what a weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. Matt, Stacey, and Lily made it to DE. They got here around 6:00pm on Saturday. We had a wonderful dinner and got to do Christmas all over again. There was one gift that we were saving for them and everyone reading this, but I am going to make you wait until our next posting, sorry. Now, meeting Lily was absolutely amazing! She is so perfect. Just so beautiful. She is a very good baby. Matt and Stacey are great parents. Casey and I LOVE our new niece!

waiting...

For Matt, Stacey, and Lily to get here. Only a few days left. They will be here Saturday afternoon. We are so excited. A new baby, WOW! Casey and I have not held a baby since Brody, it has just been difficult for us. All of our friends have been very understanding. I have no idea what emotions are going to come out. I am sure there will be happiness and some sadness and the same time. We are just so very excited. Please keep Matt, Stacey, and Lily in your prayers as they travel with a new baby.

Happy Birthday Brody

Today would have been Brody's 1st birthday. So crazy how fast a year goes by. It has just flown by and so much has happened. We have a new niece, our friends had new babies, Casey started a new job, and Casey and I are closer than ever. It would be so great to have him here, but it was not in our control.
Dear Brody,
I just wanted to say Happy Birthday! We love and miss you so much. Sometimes it just feels like I am in a dream and will wake up and you will be in my belly again. I know that is not going to happen. But you are my dream come true. You were everything I could ever want in a baby. You were absolutely perfect. I miss seeing those beautiful blue eyes. I know I will see them again. We Love you.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy

our new NIECE

Lily Sue Ayars was born at 11:39AM today, January 2, 2009. She weighed 7.5lbs and 21 inches long. Mommy and Baby are healthy as can be. Barb flew in to meet her new granddaughter and to give her love from all of us here, back in DE. Thank you for all your prayers for our family.

Happy New Year!

We have had a great New Year's. We just had a nice relaxed dinner with the Thomas and Petro family. Played games, had great food, and welcomed the New Year with friends. Yesterday, we had dinner with the Dave, Clare, Adam, Katie, new babies, Leah and Madison, Bryce, Amy D, and Steve. Some good stuff. We are so thankful for the family and friends we have. Last year was a difficult and testing year. This year has already had a wonderful start.

Also, Stacey is in LABOR!!! She was supposed to be induced at 8am this morning and Lily decided to give her a break. Stacey went into labor at 2am and so far so good. Lily should be here in the next hour or so. I will give an update as soon as our new Niece has arrived.
