14 weeks

We are now 14 weeks pregnant! I am feeling absolutely great! No more sickness, the operation is over, and I am just trying to relax and enjoy being pregnant now. I will have a doctor appointment and ultrasound every 2 weeks and I will be getting progesterone shots every week to keep this baby in there. We are very happy and thankful.

Yesterday my family came over to celebrate my oldest sister, Angie's, 29th birthday. We had such a fun time. My Mom made some rice, beans, fried and baked chicken, delicious. We had a birthday cake and ice cream and I got to see my nieces. They are so much fun. I got to watch and enjoy from the couch. Our family played Wii and it was one of the funniest things ever. There was bowling, tennis, boxing, and baseball games all going on inside our house. It was a great time!

I had my operation yesterday, I am feeling good. A little soar, but better than what I was told I would feel like. The doctor said everything looks absolutely great. Now, just plenty of rest, taking it easy, and trying to avoid any infections. We will have a baby later this year! Thank you to everyone for your prayers, thoughts, gifts, and support. We love you all.

Happy Valentine's Day!

It is a beautiful day out today and we are just enjoying it and getting ready for Thursday. I get my operation on Thursday. I have to make sure I have the baby's room done for the most part, all laundry, and get everything I will need to keep me occupied. It is going to be a busy few days.

Tonight we are going to dinner with my in-law's, Keith and Barb, tomorrow church, and then relax for the rest of the weekend. Enjoy today with that special someone.

3 months!

We had an appointment on Friday. It went great! We got to hear the heartbeat, 165, see legs, thumb sucking, and just a beautiful baby. The baby is actually measuring bigger than what it should be. I think we have another Casey on our hands. Casey was 11lbs 4oz when he was born, Bless you Barb. Casey, my Mom, Barb and my sisters got to be there with us. Everything is looking great. 11 more days until my operation. My exact due date is 8/23/09, which means that a week or so before I will have a c-section scheduled.

This is me, 3 months pregnant! I have lost about 12lbs, but you can't tell by my growing belly. I love it!

Please keep the Thomas family in your prayers. Casey's best friend, Dave, his grandmother passed away after battling brain cancer. She fought hard, it was just time for her to go to the Lord. They are a great and loving family. They are very close and dear to our hearts. We love you all and are keeping you in our prayers.

Happy Birthday

To Cristin, 30, and Joey,27! They are two of our very best friends. Cristin had a wonderful birthday bash on Friday, and today is Super Bowl for Joey, too bad it's not the Eagles. Oh well. It is going to be a great time hanging our with friends today. I have been feeling much better and have been able to eat a little more. So, I will be able to enjoy it a little more.

We have a ultra sound on Friday, very excited. We get to see our dancing baby again. The ultra sound is to detect if there is down syndrome and when my exact due date is. Can't wait!
