the storm

It's been a few months with so much going on.  I got a promotion at work, which means I work ALL the time :)  Lots of family "stuff", birthdays, babies, FUN!  I will be sure to get pictures up later today.

There is a big storm supposed to hit us, so it's prepare time.  Water, flash lights, batteries, firewood, and cooking.  I am praying that everyone remains safe and it's not going to be as bad as what they are saying.  We will keep you updated.

where am i?

When and how did it happen?  I am 29!  I have been with Casey for almost 10 years, I have had two children, and Nico is 3, yes 3!  I have always just gone with the flow as it pertains to life. Take it as it comes is how I have always thought of it.  But, I am just not feeling that way anymore.  I have "taken" it for long enough.  Where am I?  It's time for me to trust in Him.  Live for Him. I have probably been through more in my 29 years than lots of people would go through in a lifetime, and guess what, I am not broken!  I have a great husband that has always been by my side, a beautiful little boy that loves and adores me, and the Lord. I don't know where I would have been without any of them.  So,  where am I?  I am in a good place, but I am ready to be in a better place : )

The start to to Father's Day weekend was a day at the beach!

Nico has absolutely NO patience to for fishing...  As soon as we would cast out, he was reeling right back in.  He was extremely excited and for anyone that knows Nico, that means really LOUD!  He loved it.

Happy Father's Day

This little one brings so much joy and love to our life. I don't want to know where we would be without him. Nico is a creative, loving, caring, and extremely independent person.  He is not that kid that wants to do something because all of the other kids are doing it.  He thinks things through and if it's seems a little sketchy, you are not convincing him. He is a snuggler and a very funny little man.  Every day is just more and more fun and I cherish every minute with him.
