she has arrived!

Natalie Christine Santiago is here.  She was born on Friday, Jan. 20th. Weighing in at 8lbs 11oz!  I can't wait to meet her.

There have been many NEW adventure, and just new everything with Nico.  Nico had his first road trip to Ohio,  fun!  We got to spend the New Year with Uncle Matt, Aunt Stacey, Lily, Sofie, and Malcolm(Stacey's dad).  It was so nice seeing them.  Nico's big adventure started out with his first time in a hotel room.  he knew something fun, new, and different was going on from his normal day, and he had SO much excitement.  He was running through the room, jumping on the big bed, and bouncing from chair to floor and chair to bed.

We got to hang out for a couple of days in OH. We went to a museum and just enjoyed our time with family.

Nico has been saying new words, has new interest, and is just growing right before our eyes.  He is talking in full sentences, has SO many questions, loves to learn and figure things out, and the one old thing that I hope never changes, is how he loves to snuggle :)

We have new niece on the way. My brother and sister in law are due in a couple of weeks. A 5th niece!!!  Nico is still the only boy.  We had a baby shower yesterday and it was great seeing Nico loving and playing with a lot of his cousins.  When I was younger, family was always such a big deal.  Every weekend, holiday , and sometimes for no reason at all, we were together.  Big meals, fun, laughter, and getting to play with cousins was always the best.  It is important for me, for Nico to love and know his family, and have the same thing I had growing up.
